Abstract

With the evolution of 5G/6G mobile communication technologies, base station configurations are diversifying, and products require higher integration, multi-band support, lightweight design, high power, and low PIM performance. Multi-band and highly integrated base station systems are setting higher standards for filters, including (1) wideband characteristics (to support more frequency bands and stronger anti-interference capabilities). The coexistence of multiple frequency bands is leading to increasingly severe PIM challenges in these systems. Therefore, addressing PIM issues in base station filters has become one of the key technologies for the development of mobile communication infrastructure.

Speaker Biography

Mr. DENG Jianhua is the R&D Director of Shenzhen GrenTech Technology Co., Ltd. (深圳国人科技) With twenty years of professional experience in RF research and development, he is deeply involved in the R&D and mass production of base station filters. He has extensive knowledge of the critical design points of PIM performance and mass production management of base station filters. Mr. Deng has led several invention and utility patents in the field of microwave filters. He is continuously working on the research to improve PIM performance and the first-pass yield rate in mass production base station filter productions.
